I’m really developing a thing for old-fashioned donuts. I like the slight toast / crispiness of the outside with a sweet, dense layer on the inside. As I’ve become something of a connoisseur of old-fashioned, I can tell you I appreciated Sarah Donuts’. Though, I also have to admit that it wasn’t anything special. Instead, it was just as I expected.
The chocolate was a good hit, though. It was a thick layer that covered a good bit of surface area.
Sometimes, you really just can’t mess with a good thing.
