Why did I go with another highly conservative donut? This time at Krazy Eddy’s Donuts & Bagels. Well, it’s the standard. It’s always nice to tread into foreign territory knowing you can rely on the benchmark donut. Yes, if you haven’t guessed, the chocolate-frosted is my standard, not the common glazed.
What I liked about this donut was not just its light, airy dough. The chocolate frosting here was a little firmer than just “wet” frosting. It ends up creating a little chocolate shell sitting atop the donut. It just sits there ever so softly waiting to be broken by a bite.
